Some attention was drawn to whether Washington and Tokyo had suggested conducting a joint three-way military drill but the South Korean government drew the line, saying the possibility is not even considered as an option. It’s been more than two years since North Korea shut down its borders due to the COVID-19 pandemic but trash from North Korea are making their way into South Korea’s West Sea. We get a glimpse of how North Koreans are living in lockdown by looking at the garbage that have traveled down south.
